Much appreciated. I've advised a couple of these big dealerships that I would pull the trigger at 11% off the MSRP. Really have heard little.
I have a friend who is married to the family that owns the dealership. I'm about ready to call her to put some pressure on! Problem is they can't dealer trade to get the car I want. They have a 3 LT Z 51 with more than the goodies I want selling for a little over 9% off MSRP at $71,000 +. The one I want has a $63,285 MSRP.
Doesn't do any good to put something on the sales portion of this forum and say I want to purchase…?
With my C6 it was a seamless transaction. The local dealer gave me an excellent deal. Different dealer from the one above. I check in with it last week and heard nothing. Send an email yesterday and heard nothing. Forward the same email with "???" And nothing yet.
Certainly, I am not seeing the mega dealers showing much interest in me.
Thanks again.
At 11% under M.S.R.P. you're asking them to sell the car to you at a loss. It's no wonder you're not getting responses.
More than one dealership offered me 11% off on an ordered car. One showed me exactly how much they would make at that price, which wasn't a loss.
Hey i got the full Gm employee discount. It came out to around 12.5% off MSRP. 11% for non gm employee seems a little tough. Not saying its not doable but you have to get a great deal! Good luck hope you get the deal and car you want!

What is the best you can shoot for from a forum dealer?

I did...just over 11% off MSRP. In addition to that, I have $3,000 in GM earnings that I'm going to use.

You got just over 11% off of MSRP with no gm employee? Wow thats impressive...awesome!
Yes...and thank you!
I've bought two new Corvettes from Les Stanford (2012 and 2013) and highly recommend them! Went with a local dealership for the 2015 because they matched Les Stanford's offer to me.

To be honest this is my second corvette from them. First one my father bought from them about 10 years ago. I picked up my C7 last Friday. When i first starting talking to them it didn't seem like they wanted to deal at all. Had i not had the GM employee i don't think i would have purchased from them. They didn't seem like the wanted to reduce it much off MSRP without GM employee. You got an amazing deal though.

Interesting...I know it depends on who you deal with sometimes. Glad it worked out for you!
I purchased an in stock 15 at kerbecks two weeks ago that was advertised on the splash page of their internet site. Was ~12.4% off the list of the car at the time. Don't forget there was a price increase in early 2015 on coupes. If you car was built after that date, your list is $1000 higher than a car built in December like mine.
