Default Weather sucks ............

So I'm sitting here at the Comfort Inn in Gaithersburg waiting for Criswell to open so I can pick up my new car from Mike and get the h*ll out of town. Not sure who let my ex wife back on her broom at the old witches home in Salem, MA. That is the only reason I can think of for this cold, yucky weather here in the D C area.

Wet or dry, it'll be a great day once you get in the C7.

Weather today is not bad at all, just a little cool. When Mike puts you behind the wheel of your new ride, the sun will surely shine. Good luck.

Yeah the weather sucks up here in the Northeast too but the snow is slowly disappearing. The 8 foot high pile in my back yard is down to 4 feet high. Enjoy your new car. At least you won't have to wait long for the nice driving weather. Mine has been in the garage since a few days after it was delivered on November 5th!

I love the DSOM color too:

Stopped and put the top down once I cleared all the construction in Memphis. Glad I don't have to drive that daily. Damn, from Criswell to my servicing dealer in Arlington, TX was a little over 1400 miles. In less than 24 hours. Car runs like a champ.

Dayumm...sounds like you didn't sleep much on the way back. Congrats on your new ride! I'm originally from the G'burg area so I know the weather can be nasty this time of year. Welcome back and glad you had a good safe ride!

Is the car fantastic or what? Tadge and his team whacked the cover off the ball with the C7.

Yup. Glad I didn't go for a Z06. that would have been over kill for my use. I'd sure love to know where MIke and his team sell all the cars. There were several transport rigs unloading while I was waiting to do all the docs. Also, AORoads (Bill) stopped by to say hi. It's fun to meet others that are on the forum.

Very cool that Bill stopped by. People don't come any warmer than him. Did you have a chance to see his Corvette? I'm thinking that it's probably one of one (Atomic Orange convertible / gray top).

Did not get to see his car sadly. Both he he and Mike F. are first class from the get go. Btw, sadly, this years bash is out of the question. Had to move the Chicago trip to the last week of April. Even if I flew into N'ville on Thurs for the dinner and back the next day, it would be way too much for me as we have to leave that coming Sunday for up north.

Glad to hear you made it back to TX with no issues. More rain in MD tomorrow but it is warmer. Spring has sprung.

Sorry to hear that, Mike. Any chance you could come to Bowling Green and then just go straight to Chicago from there (by way of Nashville)?

No. Doing so would have me away from work too long w/o pay. This gives me next year to look forward to.
