Computer Tune Up
When I had m C5 I got a computer tune that took away the 1-4 shift and supposedly increased my hp by 10%. The same guy is offering the same service through my dealer. I have an A8 and the increased hp sounds interesting,even if it is a more modest number in the end.
I am on the fence. I'm just not sure about messing with this car to get a 20-40 hp increase.
Have any of you gotten this type of mod or a new chip that increased hp? Thanks for your responses.

A lot of us are using the Diablo InTune with great success. Easy to install and uninstall...just sit in the driver's seat and press a few button on the handheld touchscreen

Will this dealer give you a written warranty that guarantees either they or GM will honor all the warranty that came with the car? Otherwise, from personal experience, the MFG warranty on any part affected by an aftermarket tune will be void, if they are able to determine it has been flashed. Your dealer cannot speak for GM.
