Keep your foot off the brake or keep your foot off the clutch, and you'll go to access Mode.

No brake, no clutch, hold start button down. Takes about 5-10 seconds to come on.
I've always just opened the door to shut it off. Wonder if you hold it down again if it would shut off... I'll try that next time I'm in the car...

Just need to push it again when you're done.

C7 Accessory Mode - Design so smart its dumb!!!
I have a 2016 C7, and expected nothing different but why do they make cars so smart that you can not do basic functions that every other car supports. My current peeve involves the accessory mode, which powers the radio, and windows, but DOES NOT allow you to turn on the blower to vent some outside air in without starting the engine.
Apparently no one ever had to wait for someone on a summer evening and would like to have some air circulating! Sure just idle the engine to run the fan, who cares about things like engine temperature!
So - I can talk to my car, I can put my display into Metric, but I have to carry a 12 volt fan with me to get some breeze.
Way to go engineers --- think about the new nonsense, and ignore basic needs!!
