Chevrolet to Cease Offering Manual Transmission on Corvette for 2017
Chevrolet is dropping the manual transmission from the Corvette's option sheet for the 2017 model year due to dwindling sales and industry trends.

Makes me no difference. Have owned both.
Currently own an MN7. My C6 was paddle shift... no complaints.
When I went to trade cars they had an MN7 and no A8 so I left with a standard transmission - Corvette, either way.

Ditto. This is already happening with other cars so it will probably happen to the Corvette. Fake article might not ending being a joke after all...

I am planing to purchase another Corvette in 2017. Thinking, well if I can't get a manual transmission on the Corvette, might purchase from another manufacturer.
