Yea... seems like a 6.5" pad would be fine, but site recommended the smaller 5.5 for a car with the adapter so I went that route. Never polished before so just following recommendations so hopefully I don't mess it up

Just take your time and use mild pressure. You will do fine.

Check out a few YouTube videos on using a DA polisher. There are many available as well as the Meguiars website on how to use the machine polishers.

If so - any thoughts about it - i.e. how it looks and/or longevity of it?
