Console lock?
I bought the '14 in February used with 2150 miles. The gas lid never locked, nor did the glove box. After driving it daily for more than a month, I heard the clunk from the gas lock for the very first time. All this time no lock, and now it and the glove box lock every time. Odd that it would fix itself.
My question is the console. I thought it would lock, too, since my earlier C6 and C5 had locks on them. My C7 console doesn't lock. I've searched through the service manuals and can find no reference to the console.

There hasn't been a lock on the console since 2006 or 2007. I know because my 2006 had a lock and they discontinued the lock on the console soon after that.
