Default How Much More Would Lambo Add to the Price from the Factory?

I wonder how much? It is a bitch getting in and out of my car in the garage with the long door. I mean not only are lambo doors as cool as can be but they are also very functional. What do you think 1k or closer to $2k?

The other reason I would like the factory to do it is because for some reason if you do it aftermarket everybody makes fun of them which I have never understood either other than just jealousy.

I doubt the factory will add Lambo doors to any new Corvette... Aftermarket or nothing.

Is this a troll post?

Chevy isn't going to factory install Lamborghini doors.

You'll have to go aftermarket, and it will be a couple G's.

no it isn't. You see I think other than being really cool looking lambo doors make more for getting in and out tight parking. I know chevy isn't going to put them on the c7 but what about the c8?

If you want Lamborghini doors it will cost you close to 2K aftermarket, no way is GM going to do it now or in the near future.

what if they go mid engine? and again just for fun. How much do you think the doors would cost if the manufactured put them on $500 more or less?

Trust me, it's definitely not jealousy.

You really think they are practical? I sat in one in a dealership and was surprised how much the door interfered with getting in the car. They don't open enough and you really have to duck under them.

My wife has Lambo doors on hers and they are only good for show. They do not open as wide and can be difficult to raise when you are sitting in the car. They do attract attention at car shows and I am sure that they helped get a few trophies last year and one already this year.

I heard about a guy with a Lambo who was going to install Corvette doors.

well I did till I read your post. If they don't help getting in and out then I guess they aren't worth gm putting them.

As you say just for fun if the manufacturer put them on as an option I believe the cost would still be around 2k. Look what they charge now for the stinger stripe $500.00, they are going to make as big a profit as they can get away with.

No, and they open so high they'd probably hit my garage door tracks.

Most Lambo doors on Corvettes do not help make exit easier. The ones I have seen you need to open the door to ~45 degrees then pull up.

I think these are more for show than practicality.
