2016 Red
I'm stuck on a decision for my 2016 Vette. I have a 2006 Monterey Red and am hearing the new Red for 2016 is called Addiction Red. The codes come up as G1E/WA405Y/934971.
When I search the net I find various GM vehicles already out there with this color called a variety of names. To include crimson red or siren red.
Can anyone provide insight on the difference to the Crystal Red Tintcoat on current 2014/15 cars and what they are calling Addiction Red?
I have to decide soon for an upcoming order and I/m thinking the current Crystal Red has too much of a strawberry look to it for me.
I'm hoping the new color is a little darker and not sure about the pearl in it.

If you google up the part number there is a chart out there by a paint company that shows the two. Addition Red is darker-maroon looking...at least by the swatches I saw.

I would bet they are the same old colors with new names, I just bought a new chevy trax in flame red.
I needed to touch up a spot and dug out some of my paints turns out flame red is the old victory red a perfect match.
