But getting these shots wasn't the primary reason we removed the hood. If you're wondering what in the world I'm doing now, all I will say at this time is that Steve Ray helped me with the hood removal today. It was actually the first time either of us had removed a C7 hood. (Very easy to do...remove the four black bolts that hold the hood to the hinges and lift the hood off the hinges.)

Saw my first Z06 about a month ago and it was striking in Velocity Yellow.
And while your under hood goodies looks good, a wee bit too much yellow going on for my taste.
But it does look classy!!

I'm curious...does this car get driven?!? You always have some new goody to share and that engine bay is cleaner than my car was whennit was new...I wish I could keep my C7 as pristine but as a DD it has quite a bit of "character" now with over 7000miles since last November.

Looks like very good work and glad you like it.
I personally have grown very fond of the internal combustion engine over the years and want it covered up as little as possible. I'd rather have a hot woman in a bikini than a burka any day.

Thanks, everyone, for the compliments...and comments. I know that what I do isn't going to appeal to everyone, and that's perfectly okay.
Well, I'm almost to 11,000 miles if that counts. But that's 11,000 miles in 18 months. Not a daily driver, but still gets dirty and needs a good cleaning every so often.
