Just do it yourself, it's an easy mod and a lot cheaper.

Check out BLOKIT from TKO, a forum vendor. I have used this product to great advantage on both my Vettes.

My only comment; people want quiet yet have NPP or after market exhaust? I have stock exhaust and don't need insulation kit (quiet enough).

As C7 Jake posted, $62 shipped for FatMat 25 sq. ft. roll from Amazon.com. This will greatly reduce road and tire noise in the cabin.

Not the exhaust that bothers most people, it is road noise. Especially on highways that have a gravel paving.

Yup, its called "chip and seal" and is all the rage now in TX. The driviing surface is horrible and delaminates after only a few months. Most county/city road authorities are using it now because it is "cost effective". Another example of your tax dollars at work...

You equate the sweet exhaust note of the Stingray to the roaring tire noise of a run flat tire?

I used peel n seal from Lowes behind the seats and in the cargo area, then some frost king foam insulation also with foil backing from lowes and then the block it matts available from forum vendor TKO. Very pleased with reduced tire road noise... it is now the way it should have been delivered from the factory.

C7 Jake has one of the nicest installations of sound deadening material I have seen. His installation although a DIY install, looks extremely professional IMO.

I have to agree that on roads that have allot of exposed aggregate to the road surface, the interior noise level is not comforting. On a smooth road surface, I have no complaints.

When I enter I-77 in North Charlotte in my 2015 the road is asphalt over concrete. I have to turn up the stereo because of the rear wheel noise. Will try this insulation some time this year.

As soon as I can figure out how to pull back the carpet.

Rattle Trap is a thicker version of Fat Mat. Fat Mat also makes Mega Mat which is rubber, to go over either Fat Mat or Rattle Trap. The 2 together are really great. I have both installed in my Z51 both behind the seats and in the entire rear compartment. Highly recommend.
