1st off let me say the museum delivery was the best car delivery of any vehicle I have ever purchased. In my opinion if you have never done it is a must do at least once.

1. They PDI the vehicle. If there was something not right with my car I couldn't find it, it was that good. If your not buying local you will be paying approx. $500 for a courtesy delivery.

2. You're assigned a host for the time you are there. He makes sure the car is right. He goes over every aspect of the car with you. He is your personal guide during the Museum tour and plant tour. My host was extremely knowledge about the car, production and history of Corvette. There was not 1 question he could not answer.

3. I received everything that was in the car when it was delivered including all the plastic wrap.

4. You receive a plaque in the car with any thing you wish to have printed on it, a small plague also to hang in you garage/home with anything you wish to have printed on it, a gold stick on badge to place where ever you choose, 1 year membership to the museum which also gets you a 10% discount on item purchased from their store.

5. It was an amazing experience when the car is driven out and everyone stops what they are doing to cheer your car as it rolls out.

I have absolutely no regrets in paying for what I got in return and would highly recommend it to any one. I also found out this is not just for new vettes. It can also be done for used vette deliveries.

The good thing is you have a choice, if you think it is too much money for what you get than don't do it.

The price was $490 for 14 years. Finally increased with the C7.

Is the price a little steep? Yes. Is it worth it? That's up to you. That said, I have done it twice.
