Hey guys, I'm a first time poster here. I'm getting ready to purchase and I contacted my local dealer and they said in email reply:
"I have asked about the Credit Union discount and it does exist, but we are not honoring it and I don’t know if any other dealerships would, because it is really difficult to get a new Corvette in unless the car has been sitting in our inventory for a long time and we need to get rid of it. Right now GM is only producing about 200 a month."
Is he B.S.ing me or is he telling the truth? Must I pay MSRP?

BS because he has no allocations currently and few for the year probably. Getting late but if you call one of the large forum dealers-Kerbeck, Crisswell, McMulkin, etc. they can get you a 2015 as they have allocations and will honor the credit union discount or even exceed it.
LOTS of dealerships are honoring the Credit Union discsount. If you can't find a local one near you to help you out then call MaxMulkin, Kerbeck or one of the other huge corvette sellers. You won't be disappointed.

They are making almost 200 per day!!!
Give me or one of the other forum dealers a call to get accurate information and great pricing. Best of luck!

I
I was in the same boat last week, MSRP was the best I could get. Only cars that don't move will get a "Savings".
I bought my C7 from Kerbeck, I will lose $2500 for an enclosed
Transport to Seattle, but that still puts me 4K ahead of MSRP and I found the car I wanted. With the factory summer break coming up, you will have to make a decision soon or wait until 2016. Kerbeck has dozens more cars coming their way, take a look at their website.
