Is anyone having an issue with the chrome peeling on the stingray emblem. The stingray emblem is located on the side of the front quarter panel. I just called my dealer to order a replacement, and asked if it is under warranty, and they did not know if it was. I have an apt on 4/29 to get it replaced. That is the same day that I am having the recall work done on the gas fill anti-siphon grid.
Bumper to Bumper warantee coverage includes all body parts not damaged by accident or misuse or normal wear and tear.
They replace it for you at no charge or you then call GM customer service and demand to get it free.
And then find another dealer as this "they did not know if it was" is absolute BS....

Same thing happened to a Toyota Tacoma pickup I own - plastic chrome started peeling on the emblem on the wheel center cap. Dealer replaced with absolutely no questions. Someday all the Chevy personnel should take a secret shopper roadtrip to a Toyota dealer to learn what customer service really means. Stick to your guns and don't let a lazy dealer off the hook.
This is a good time to replace them with the carbon flash versions if you like them...And just FYI the emblem is on the fender, quarter panels are in the rear
