Looks way too dark but I'm not a tint guy. Your windows never look clean to me. I cannot see the point of tinting the windshield.
Actually I don't want any tint and don't like the look of any tint.

If you lived in any sunny state you would understand. Arizona, Florida, Texas the sun is killer.
At 80 degrees the sun will bake your car inside!

Oh yes if I was living in Texas. I would likely get some tint not that dark though. I bought a car from Arizona and it was tinted.
But superdark for looks Never in this life.
I had my windshield tinted n my Lexus and loved it. Doesn't need to be dark and makes a huge difference. I just got my vette today and tint is coming Within next few days including windshield. Will post some pics once it's done.
You say that you don't like the look of tint? Did you know that each piece of glass on the C7 is rated at 70% tint? So, in this case his 50% tint is really 35% give or take for refraction. If it's a carbon ceramic tint then it will look nice and dark on the outside but be easy to see out of at night.
I was thinking that a light tint (70-90) on the windshield would be nice to cut down IR/UV and heat buildup, but assumed that any tint on the windshield would interfere with the HUD.
There is really no such thing as a tint that works well during the day and yet allows good night vision. All tints work the same way. They reduce the amount of light passed through the windows.
