Maybe it's just me but it seems like the rear end of my c7 attracts dust and neighborhood grass clippings etc. like a magnet. Is there a dust repelling spray or wax etc that would repel dirt rather than attract it?
I realize the back end has more exposure to debris from the road but my other cars don't seem to be as bad in that department. No butt jokes required though it will be tough to resist.
Anything with a flat back section will do this. Just ask anyone driving most SUV's.
I've only had my car a week and a half and have already noticed it.
I don't mind, I love washing this car. It means I have one! :-)
Pretty bad. Was hoping the exit venting would prevent the accumulation the C6 had. "NO" Grass clippings seem especially bad, somehow even end up in the exhaust.
No worse than my C5s or C6s. Maybe even C4s for all I know. Just the nature of the beast forming a low pressure area at the rear as the car slices through the air.

Agreed...and it is more than static cling. It just gets way dirtier than the rest of the car.
I had a Pewter C5 and Machine Silver C6 and they did it but I could get away with quite a bit of dirt due to the color of the car.
My Arctic White C7 however shows reality of this phenomena BIG TIME. We are in a serious drought situation in Austin and you will be fined big time if you get caught washing your car at home. Because of this mine only gets a good hand wash.....well, not near enough. The other day I did wash it by hand and I literally could not get the back of the car clean. I washed the back like three times and it was still dirty as hell. I'm going to have to clay bar it to get it clean again. The pisser here is that say 3 months ago I clay bar'd the car and polished it with Blackfire polish and seal and applied one of their other products (don't recall the name). I was hoping that the Blackfire product would help minimize the effort it takes to keep the butt clean. Don't think it has any better than other plain ole waxes that I have used in the past.

So to my question I guess there are no products that repel dust? I will search Internet to see if someone makes such a product. I'd call it REPEL..
Nothing works......simple as that. The c7 is better than the c6 to me though...but pretty much all cars do it. It is the nature of aero forces and driving imo.
