How much was that exact wheel? I see you did not get the middle carbon fiber part. Easiest way to order just PM John? I went on his site but unless I missed something I only saw wheels for previous gen vettes. Thanks!!

Just received my steering wheel bezel! I also realized his website was out of date so I just called him and had a long conversation as we came up with my design. Cost may very according to exactly what your looking for, mine was in the neighborhood of $1,600 + core. Good luck!

I like the steering wheel low, @ 6'3" it sure helps w/legroom. Also easier to get in/out. Looks great, feels good..positive upgrade.
6'4"
I have to make a point of parking the '14 with the steering wheel in it's "straight" orientation (not necessary for the wheels/tires to be straight though) just to make it easier to get in / out. There's a noticeable difference when the wheel's even slightly turned.
Add to this the fact that the top of my legs is hitting against the bottom of the wheel when the clutch is at full release and a flat-bottom wheel is going to be on my "to buy" list. I would've gotten one of the Z06 ones and modified it but I'd just as soon wait for a 'factory' option.
I like flat-bottom steering wheels and it's about time that Corvette gave you the option. It's really for the racing look. Functionally, I mean, we're really kinda kidding ourselves. Even as a 6'6" guy, a smaller diameter rim will do more than a flat bottom wheel even for getting in and out of the car.
They're not going to 'kill' sales of the car. I mean, if you don't like them, it could be worse. Here's the Corvette C7R's:
