Default Everyone Home Safe ?

Hope everyone has a safe trip home from the Bash. Saw on the news tonight that there was a nasty weather front moving through Texas, Western Kentucky, and Georgia.

Rain, Golf Ball size Hail, and some Tornadoes . A second front is headed in the same direction.

Drive Safe on your way home.

I made it back to Kansas City after an 8-1/2 hour drive. I ran in to torrential downpours 3 times. I couldn't see the road nor the cars in front of me......

I used the weather app so I could thread the needle so to speak till I got back into n central TX on I-30. Then I cut s w towards I-20. Missed most of it that way. What I did hit was a true turd floater for about 20 minuets Then it quit as fast as it started. Thankfully !

Safe but got stuck for 2 hours dead stopped on 71 between Louisville and Cincinatti because of wreck. 5 hour drive turned into 7.5. Bash was great and my C7 perfomed flawless in all conditions. Track at NCM, clear high speed cruise and downpours. Surely got to experience all conditions.

We needed to be home on Saturday, so left BG in the late afternoon with "TBRDS" on the trailer. Got very lucky staying ahead of the weather, just a few light showers, and not even a wet road in 750 miles. I worried about you guys going west. BTW, we stayed at the KOA campground, the only Vette there, and got a lot of positive reaction. 50 years ago I was in the first graduating class of less than 200 people at a local community college. A guy came up to look at the car, and I discovered he was in that class also! We slept in the van for three hours in a rest area. When we woke up Saturday morning, there was a guy standing almost against (back to) the van rear window, between the van and the trailer. Huh? Then realized he was trying to get a cell phone photo of the car's hood!
