Default Stinger stripe

A couple of weeks ago I had a Stinger stripe from vettestripes installed on my car. I noticed that some something hit it and put a gouge in it already. It is very small but I can see the paint coming through. My question is, Has anyone taken off that stripe and did It do any damage to the paint underneath. Thanks

I had the vettestripes vinyl stripes on my C6 for about a year. Took them off for a visual change of the car. Came off very easy with warm (not hot) hair dryer and soapy water. There was a little adhesive left on the paint but it also came off easily. Paint underneath looked fine, no damage of fade marks.

While the stripes were on I also go a few nicks etc. I used a dab of clear nail polish on the nick to seal and cover. Worked good and came right off when I removed stripes.

yup, heat from a hair dryer is fine, a heat gun used correctly is quicker, clean up the residue with GOO GONE and re wax....
