Remote Lock Feature
So all of a sudden, on it's own, the horn sounds when I walk away from the car. I go into settings, make sure this feature is turned off. It still does it. And yes, the car has been through any number of start cycles since this started doing this on the way home to TX from the Bash. Used the full reset feature too. Major pita as one has to go back and reset all favorites, etc. Guess the next step is a hard reset by removing the negative battery cable.

my right side mirror wont stay put. every time i get back in the car its moved.... pisses me off!! Im almost to the point of disconnecting the wires to the mirror lol
OK... here's a thought. Have you left a spare FOB in the car? I've had the same or similar thing happen a couple of times and meant to look into it. I just went downstairs and checked this out. I had the door open, lock the doors with FOB, lay the FOB gently on the roof, and close the door. The horn beeps 3 times real fast. I tried it several times and it always alarmed. What I was attempting, and seems I succeeded, was to make the car think I'd locked a FOB inside it. The FOB must have to be real close, or inside, since it didn't alarm if I held the FOB 2 feet away. I first became aware of these kinds of alarms with my wife's Nissan. I'd go out with her FOB, start the car, and walk back into the house with the FOB in my hand. The alarm always goes off, just like my Vette did today during testing. Good luck. Maybe this will help you track down the problem.
BTW... I NEVER leave the FOB in my car but I've gotten the alarm 3 or 4 times so it must be kinda easy to fool the computer.

Your problem might be associated with the seat position memory. That memory sets both side mirrors as well as the seat position. Try setting the mirror just the way you want it, then set the memory again. I had this problem and this is how I fixed it. Good luck.

Spare is in my closet. A good 100 or so feet from the car. In fact, as there is no longer a #1 or 2 fob, I even switched out fobs. Still does it. If it keeps up, I'll let my servicing dealer deal with it. That's what the warranty is for.
There are all kinds of quirks in the electronics. My "shuffle" button is on and yet it plays straight albums. Dealer says everything comes up okay on the computer diagnostics. Small pia but a pia anyway.

Very true. I may actually try turning the horn setting on, letting it cycle through several full ignition on/off cycles then, turning it off. With luck, that will work.
ive tried that too. the driver side returns but the passenger moves when shut off and wont return. Hell i dont know whats up with it. If i could keep the Girlfreind out of the driver seat it may work fine

Try taking each fob separately to the car and go into settings and turn off the passive locking honk.
We are all still discovering which things differentiate between driver 1 and 2, and which do not. It's not as cut and dried as the C6.

Issue solved
Finally figured out what happened. Evidently when the dealer did the re-flash, the passive door lock setting defaults to on, horn/lights .............. It is now set to lights only ................

Compared to the C6, there are many some what hidden features built into the settings app. The car must be have the engine running in order to access those controlled by the "vehicle" tab. Not exactly what one wants if the car is in the garage.
