Same here. I prefer the slightly wider stance.

Put a set on our Z51 and had a problem with the rears rubbing when going over SLIGHT BUMPS AND DIPS! Although the rubbing was minimal decided to put the stocks back on. Seemed like every time we saw a bump or dip coming the anticipation of the rub was very distracting. Loved the look though.

I've got them, they are my first choice for the C7 with silver or blue exterior, offset looks cool, no problems. And I skipped the painted calipers - too much bling. Do have GM mud flaps. The machined faced wheels are a perfect compliment to the stainless steel exhaust tips. When I bring the car in to Chevy for service, there's always someone there who says they really like the look. Doesn't look like all the rest. No complaints here about anything.

Do you have any pics of your setup? Did you have the car fully lowered on stock bolts? I have the nurbs and a stock non-lowered setup and it seems unlikely to me that the shocks would ever compress this much for the wheels to rub. Would it be prudent to install the Z51 sway bars to keep the car flatter in turns? I realize this would not help with bumps.

It's not the 18" front wheel that's an issue. It's the rear 19", specifically the matte gunmetal.

Huh? What does the finish have to do with fitment or rubbing?

I can tell you it's not a problem with the wheel manufacturing specs… Because I've had the TSW and the Cray which are both identical wheels made by TSW, in terms of specifications, and neither of them had it anything like you're going through… I would try to look for a possible swap out or something… Don't know… when I mounted my forgelines though in talking to Jerry, and forgeline, they both commented that a basic car suspension is a little bit softer and takes a bit of a change in offset when they can custom do it ....to accommodate the softer suspension.

Definitely odd, that some people have rubbing issues and some dont with the same TSW wheel. Maybe the manufacturing tolerances vary enough to cause this issue? It's almost as if the wheel needs to be sold with a disclaimer. "Fits C7 Corvette, but may /may not cause rear rubbing"

The variable isn't in the wheel, it's manufacturing variations between cars. For some reason many C7s have closer rear tire-to-fender clearance on the passenger side than on the driver side. A car with equal near-zero rear camber alignment may rub on the right side only. An alignment with more negative camber provides more clearance.

Photos of my car are already with the splash guards! I could only imagine how far it would stick out without them

And I was shipped/sold the offset that Speed Depot said would fit. Didnt have a choice

Ours was not lowered! Brought it in for the dealer to check and they felt that it could possibly be an incorrect off set. Ended up selling my wifes C7 vert with the rims on it. Buyer liked the looks and didn't mind the rubbing. Problem solved!

Mine is fully lowered on stock bolts and they have never rubbed. It seems some do have this problem however. I don't have the stock tires mounted on the TSW's so that may have something to do with it.

The tires definitely do not sit inside the wheel well now, and do stick out past the fenders. I've noticed the tires/fenders now get dirty fairly quick and maybe the aerodynamics of the car are hindered. Anyone else feel the same way?

Also, the ride feeling has changed for the worse. Bumps / imperfections now transit to the driver much more than with the stock 18/19 wheels. Maybe the stock wheels are built a bit more solid and absorb these bumps?

Just curious to see what others think about this setup and if they've experienced any issues? And what recourse, if any, I would have in trying to return these rims ?
Haven't had any issues with mine, and I actually really like the wider stance...

Default I'm good with them....

I really like the stance.
Yea, I get a slight rub when hitting a dip in road on the stock Michelins. I'm good with it.

I'd suggest if you're unhappy, find a set/make of wheels you like, buy them, and sell the ones you have. Your choices are to keep it or get rid of it. It does seem as if the variation is from car to car and not necessarily all on the wheel or the manufacturer. That happened on the prior gen Vette, too.

I only scanned this thread... but I had an issue with one TSW wheel... a 19" Bayern Multi.. for my G8, several years ago. That wheel had been bent in shipping. The rest were fine. I have a set of TSW Interlagos on my EB Flex. They are PERFECT! Really wanted to switch out my Z51 Black wheels for a similar sized set of Black TSW Interlagos... Wife said WAIT!

I installed the factory fender guards that were painted VY by RPI. Now my stock wheels sit in too far... Great solution to helping keep fenders free of chipping with TSW wheels or any others that stick out slightly from stock.

My experiences withTSW wheels has been great!
