I went with Michelin AS-3s (non-run flat). No noticable noise change - but much better cold grip and reduced sand / gravel pick-up. AS-3s are not as good as OEM Run Flats once the OEMs get hot or are pushing hard on corners. OEM tires must be warm, on warm surface, to begin to have an avantage over the AS-3.... in my opinion. For most people who 'cruse' and do not really push the car to its capabilities, the AS-3 is a good alternative---but you do give up the 'peace of mind' Run Flat technology provides.

I would really be interested in an instrumented test with professional drivers to test the skidpad and road course performance of tires such as the Michelin all seasons versus the OEMs. Don

Check Tirerack.com. There are several tests of various high performance tires. Not sure if there is one that directly compares the Corvette OEM tires with other models. I am waiting for the new Continental DWS 06 to be made available as it is supposed to increase handling performance over the previous model which has received rave customer reviews.

I switched to AS3s and found them to be much quieter. As for punctures, get a air pump kit from Tire Rack.

Thanks, I’m aware of Tire Rack’s testing but I don’t think that there is any direct comparison between OEM and others using a C7 as a test vehicle. One can hope. Don

I recently mounted Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport summer non run flats on my Z51. The road noise is definitely significantly reduced which is nice, ride smoothness is about the same I'd say. Practically no roost from them either. However the grip is noticeably less front and rear, and for this reason at this point I don't think I will go this rout again but will have to live with it for now. Even though they are rated quite good in Tire Rack testing.

Conti DWS on my C6 andC7. Ten times more quiet and much better ride than oem run flats. Don't track the car. Highly recommend.
