Default Love The Fish

I have been surprised by the number of members on this forum who have expressed their dislike for the Stingray emblem.

So, I am starting this thread to celebrate "The Fish".

Please post with your favorite fish photos and tell us why you "Love the Fish".

Me, I LOVE IT! The Stringray emblem has been a MUST HAVE for me ever since I saw the concept car in the Transformers movie.

MUST HAVE!

But, this has been a love affair that has been running for a LOT longer than that. It goes back to about 1978 when a guy my dad worked with drove into the yard driving a car just like this:

FIRST LOVE!

With this in mind, I want to send props out to jagamajarajan for the art work he had done on his hood. It looks AWESOME!

LOVE THE FISH!

BUT, my favorite fish of all is the one on my new wheels!

LOVE MY FISH

I dont mind the fish so much as the cheap looking chrome plastic they stuck on. So they came off in the delivery parking lot...

when they made it in carbon flash, it somehow looked much better , and it went back on, JMO.

I love the fish, too. So glad they brought back the Stingray name. I've had to correct several people over the years who thought any Corvette was a Stingray. My C4 is NOT a Stingray I'd tell them, nor is it a Sting Ray. Now I have a Stingray. I also love color and chrome. Now I'm glad those who like blacked out cars can have them and I support them in their mods but its just not my cup of tea. I'd like a BIG fish on my car.... in CHROME. Mark of the Beast!

The stingray fish is in either chrome or carbon flash. I would never think of removing them. count me in on liking the stingray emblem!

The Stingray is the name of the car and the fish symbolizes the name- it looks nice and the silver color is a nice contrast to the body color. The fish is small and tastefully done what is there not to like.

As a kid in the 60s, the name "Stingray" was magical. More so than "Corvette." No American car has captured my attention like the C2 Stingray, until now. The C7 is worthy of the name, and I'm glad Chevy decided to bring it back.

The fish may not be the greatest auto logo ever, but it does symbolize the name, and I like it. I just added this to my interior:

Wife was excited when they brought back the stingray name and the looks when pics first came out, and finally twisted my arm into ordering one last year. The sharp lines kind of define the look of the fish. I also have the carbon flash fish and added a red fish to the hood stinger.

Growing up in the sixties the Corvette "Stingray" was a very special car to me, I missed the Stingray name during my ownership of three C6's. When it was revealed that the C7 was once again to be called Stingray I knew I just had to have one.

I really like the Stingray logo, in fact, I ordered two extra ones to place on my sun visors on top of the warning covers.

Where did you guys get the Stingray visor covers? I can't find them anywhere. The red ones would fit my AR 3LT interior well, I think.

I got my airbag warning covers and metal Stingray emblems from Forum Supplier Corvette Mods. They probably also have the red printed emblem that would look great in your AR interior.

Default Stingray love ...

I really like the emblems and so does everyone who sees them. I think they're small, tasteful and I like them shiny like my chrome wheels.

Added fish to my 1LT seats since they don't come with an emblem in the 1LT.

imo looks like what came out of that guy's belly in "Alien" after they check out the wreck on an uninhabited planet...I think the car looks so much cleaner and less "busy" without them...

Well, all you guys who love your fish, enjoy them...

Deerfeeder, where did you get those logos / covers? The 'ray logo covers I've seen elsewhere aren't as nice as those.

Thanks.
