I have an I phone 5s which is paired w/ my 2014 C7 and have driven the car 8000 mi over the past year.
Yesterday while driving, the phone automatically took over and blanked out all the dash electronics including radio. The only readout on the dash electronics said "Ted's phone"...nothing else. No speedometer, radio...nothing. I could not get any of the electronics back until I got back home, shut off the phone, and took it into the house. Then I was able to restore all the electronics. I've read about various glitches in the electronics on this forum and wonder if any others have experienced this issue?????

I haven't had that exact thing- but I did have it freeze my infotainment screen only- Came back a few seconds after I unplugged it.
I have heard of some weird things if one tries to pair a phone while plugged in to usb and playing music.
I had this happen on my first day of ownership. Plugged phone in and infotainment and Ac went blank. Only fix for me was to disconnect pos and neg battery cable and touch them together. That was the only thing that would reset it. I had a software update at the dealer (along with several iOS updates since then) and it hasn't happened since but that doesn't mean it won't.
My IPhone 4S, OS 8.3, started intermittently disconnecting and reconnecting itself. That went on for several days. I wiped the phone clean, reloaded the latest update, and the problem SEEMS to have calmed down...
I'm curious, the only issue I have had is that my audio won't play when using the BT feature for music. I have an iPhone 6+... This happens intermittenly. If I want to play the sound I have to disconnect the phone via the NAV unit and reconnect and boom it works. It will show all the data from the Spotify track on the NAV screen, but no sound.... Anyone experience that issue?
I had that happen too. I unhooked the battery, let it sit for 10 minutes and reconnected. After indexing the windows, everything came up as normal. This happened 3 or 4 months ago and has not repeated.
It needs the old "Alt-ctrl-del" action to reboot clean.
Thanx for the responses. Dealer's suggestion so far is to disconnect the Bluetooth feature of the iphone. So... maybe the c7 doesn't really have this feature?

Shoot the dealer for sheer stupidity....
Disconnect the car battery, wait 10, then re-connect the battery. Everything will reboot and all you need do is re-index the windows.
This has nothing to do with your iPhone- something us up with the electronics on your Vette. Dealer service time!
