Very easy. There are a number of threads here on ways to de-badge.

Once (if ........ ) it warms up in your neck of the woods, park the car so the back end is facing the afternoon sun. Let it sit for several hours. Squirt some goo gone or goof off on the lettering and let it sit for a tad so the glue softens. You should be able to peel the script off without much effort.

I prefer the clean look as well. Goo gone, a hot day, and fishing line to "saw" off the letters was what I did.

Why do C7 owners and others remove the "Corvette" name?

I would think that being a Corvette owner you would be proud of the model amd owning such a beautiful driving machine.

Just curious what drives you to remove the name.

I never thought about removing the name, but I do like the look.

Cleans up the bumper. I was sitting behind a Chevy SUV the other day and marveled over 4 different name/option pkgs spelled out on the rear end.

Small fishing line or dental floss also helps

Some owners prefer to remove them. Others prefer to add everything they can find with Corvette written on it to their car: license plate frames, floor mats, exhaust filler plates, reservoir caps, visors, etc.

Because it is superfluous.
