OK: I have done a cursory search for this problem, but found nothing. My apologies if this topic is already as prevalent as "What's the best wax?" .
When i leave someone in the car, say to go inside the gas station or some other short errand, the alarm goes off randomly. I do not touch my fob, which is with me, and it does not seem to matter if the person in the car has a fob or not.
Just a thought... not sure. Do you have the automatic lock set? In my understanding, the alarm isn't active unless the car is locked. Maybe someone has another thought. Good luck and please post your findings so we can all learn.

I may have just solved my own problem. When all else fails, LOOK IN THE MANUAL. The intrusion alarm should be deactivated if someone or a pet, is left in the car. Its the button next to the trunk release.

Any thoughts, Corvette experts???
Thanks.
You didn't say which option package you have, but 2LT and 3LT have an alarm option on the lower left dash, by your left knee. It's ON by default. If you have the key in your pocket then the alarm sets when you walk away, and any motion within the car or out can trigger it. If you press the button when you get out you can disable this alarm.
I go to Cars & Coffee and sometimes remove my roof. I had my keys in my jacket (which I had taken off and laid nearby), and then reached in to grab my sunglasses on the passenger seat, which set it off.
