Default Wheel Spacers

I just sold my C6, which had wheel spacers for the front and rear. Gave it a nice stance. Has anyone put wheel spacers on C7? I have a TPW of 5/11 and am already thinking about mods!!!

I had a nice set of Sport Muscle wheels and Michelin Super Sports that fit perfectly on my C6 which I traded in for my C7. I kept the wheels and tires hoping to try them on my Z51 Coupe. Had to use a 1-inch spacer for the front to clear the calipers. Stance looked nice but car didn't "feel" right on the highway. Took them off and went back to the original wheels and tires. Anyone interested in a very nice set of wheels/tires/TPMS for their C6?

Last year when I had stock wheels I experimented with different spacers to get a better stance. I found the perfect stance for a stock Stingray can be achieved by:
1) allowing a few thousand miles for the suspension to settle.
2) adjust ride height bolts to center the wheels in their fender openings, not necessarily fully down.
3) then mask off a line on the front air dam pieces and use snips to trim off about 3/4" so the dams have their original ground clearance.
4) align front and rear suspension for .5 to .75 degree negative camber
5) I found that 6mm spacers in the rear and 8mm spacers in front gave the best stance but either size would be ok. By using E.T. (extended thread) lugnuts you don't have to change the studs. Choose ones with a "bulge" seat and be sure you get at least 7 or 8 turns, thread depth varies slightly between different brands. Be sure they're torqued properly and in sequence.
Sorry but I didnt keep track of my sources for the spacers and ET lugnuts, that was back in the fall of 2013. There are many sources on the internet.

Thanks for the feedback. For my C6, I used 2-3/8 Baer hub centric spacers for the rear and 2- 1/4 inch Baer for the front. I also had the extended thread Gorilla lug nuts. I am concerned with the width, as I dont want to damage the fenders.

No problem, you'll have plenty of clearance. Although about 6mm seems to look the best in the rear, 8mm will clear too. My spacers are hub centric too, I wouldn't use those generic ones. It's a good idea to get a good alignment after break in, just to maximize tire wear. The quick factory alignment isn't very precise and it's done before the suspension settles down fully.
