Default Order Update

Hello All - I am getting tentatively excited as my TPW is now only days away!! I am still concerned as I ordered Velocity Yellow, and from everything I have read, there are no more VM being made. With that said, my dealer assured me it would be built, although I dont have the most confidence. With that being said, I recieved the below email from GM this morning. Thoughts?

Here is the current status for your 2015 Chevrolet Corvette:

Your vehicle order has been accepted at the plant. This means the vehicle order has been picked up by GM and has been scheduled for production! Currently there is a scheduled target production week (TPW) set for 05/11/2015, but please keep in mind this date can be subject to change based on the plant's schedule.

I will send you another update next Friday.
If you would like to check on your status before then, please feel free to chat from www.chevrolet.com.
For faster service, please reference your case number SR 71-1460005266 or your order number.
Thank you for choosing Chevrolet for your new vehicle!

Sincerely,

Ashley

Seems normal, and there will always be a disclaimer that production is subject to change. That disclaimer doesn't mean it's going to happen.

Default Velocity Yellow

I wouldn't worry about it, if they have accepted your order they most likely will build it.
My Velocity Yellow was built on 4/21 and I will be picking it up on 5/21 at the museum. I was thinking mine might have been one of the last VY built with all the talk about dropping the color but was told they are still coming off the production line every day. I put my order in when it was at 10% constraint.

Pretty sure if you have a TPW then your car is being built as you specified. Unless some disaster wipes the BG plant off the face of the Earth, there's not much else that will stop it from being made at this point.
