Thought I would share my current progress in the "Under the hood" dept.
I am sharing this so that those considering similar mods can get a feel for how it would look. Note the bottom part of the "Heat extractor" is off in this shot as I was giving another shot of Red.
I am very impressed with the "trufiber" product line traditionally CF parts are very flimsy and do not hold their form well, Trufiber uses a couple layers of fiberglass to establish the core element then ads a final layer of CF, very impressed.
The alternator cover was a compromise as I wanted a full time solution and any CF cover would not allow for air to move thru, I shot the interior with Carbon Flash, I will up with a Red border for accent.
