I just picked up my C7 and the ride is extremely rough. It has the Z51 package and the magnetic ride. I did not test drive this car, however I drove a 2014 Z51 convertible with Mag ride and it was a lot smoother. I tried the touring and sport and it doesn't feel any different.
Do these cars come from the factory with shipping blocks on the shocks? If so, where are they located..I am curious if they were removed.
I recall having an Audi S4 and they didn't remove the blocks and it was a hell ride and weekend until I could remove them on the following Monday.

Thanks everyone
Shipping blocks were only an issue on 2003 C5's when the F55 system was first introduced. There was a yellow tag on the top of the shocks that the dealer had to remove along with the blocks during PDI but they didn't in many cases. The problem was corrected and wasn't an issue afterward. They didn't use blocks on the C6's so I doubt they do on C7's.

Have you checked the tire pressure ? IIRC, they come from B G with 50 psi in the tires for shipping. I have found several on dealer lots that still had this pressure setting.
I have Z51 with 3 miles on it. I can definitely tell the difference between T and S
I'd try it out on real bumpy road maybe with a little bit of speed and steering.
If it doesn't seem any different between modes, I'd take it to the dealer.

I just checked the tire pressure and all are at 32 PSI.
Make sure you actually got the magnetic ride package on your build sheet.
Just because you have Z51 doesn't mean it came with MSRC. Just a thought.
Thanks but I made sure on purchase it had the Magnetic ride.
I think I really need to drive more and see if I wrong. When I get to the 500 mile oil change, I bring it up to the dealer and have them verify everything is working OK

I know it sounds silly, but make sure the car was actually built with MSRC. Pop the hood and see if you have wires going into the top of the suspension. Orders and build sheets can say whatever they want, the proof is under the hood.

I still have the blocks that were on my C5. The dealer did not remove them when they performed the PDI and I drove from San Diego to Northridge with them still on the shocks. Ride was really rough.
Finally read about the blocks and took it to my mechanic and he removed them.
Wold of difference in the ride.

Here is what I saw. When I went to the get my Museum delivery about a month & half ago. (Plant Tour) The last thing that they do on the end of the assembly line --> Drive like hell over this series of pipes on the floor. I asked what that was for. "To Set the Suspension System" was the answer.

if not sure where to look, look at the shocks. If yellow you have. Z51 without mag shocks like mine. Switching to any mode has no affect on ride.
You can also double check by:
1. Go into track mode
2. Double tap the traction control button
3 If the center of your gauge display says performance driving mode you don't have MSRC. If it shows performance traction control and its various modes you have MSRC.
