Hello All - I haven't recieved my C7 yet-but I am getting a few mods, so when it arrives, I am ready!! One of my first additions is side skirts. I am looking for skirts that come pre-finished in a Carbon Flash to match the rest of the car. I also woukd rather not drill into my new car, but will if needed. I came across the below which appears to fill my needs. Anyone use these? Any insight on these or other brands would be appreciated!

I purchased the Weapon X side skirts for the same reason as you, no drilling. I really like the fit. I painted mine myself but would recommend ordering them already painted in carbon flash. They are mounted on the bottom of the rocker using existing screws in front and back, and 3-M tape between the screws. Very solid. I would recommend them and Ben at Weapon X is a great guy to do business with.
Pretty much the same as Bmbl-Bee.. I purchased my no drill side skirts from C7Carbon (they are an approved vendor here on the forums) and used a strong 3M double sided tape. I ordered my side skirts unfinished and had them painted locally at a Chevrolet dealership (carbon flash metallic). They look and fit great! Tons of compliments that WON'T break the bank!
C7Carbon.com side skirts here, also (GTX Fiberglass model) ....great deal....Z06 Style........paid $389.00 (in Jan 2015) shipped to the house.. .....painted them myself in Carbon Mist Metallic......easy install.....Yes, I used the OEM GM washer screws and drilleds a few more holes.
Lots of compliments also. Can't best this deal anywhere.

I really like the look and contour of these skirts. I would like to see them with a Carbon Flash option, but I can have them painted. Do these come with 3m tape, or is this an option which you chose?
How is getting into and out of the car with the side skirts? Does you leg hit the skirt?
I have the ACS zero 7 side skirts. The back of your shoe can get caught if you're not careful, but you get used to it in 5 minutes. I alway make sure whoever gets in with me also knows to be careful and its not been a problem
That taper seems to be designed to allow for entry/exit ease. Least it is not hot, I got into a friends Viper the other day and had to be careful due to hot side pipes. Oh, that Viper is not refined like the Corvette (the Viper's clutch is really stiff, driving through town will kill your left leg).

Bmbl-bee --- How long have you had the side skirts? Did the 3m tape come with the side skirts? And the most important question..... How well do they protect the rockers??
Apologies to outlaw....not trying to hijack the thread.....
The C7Carbon.com and the ACS Zero are the same side skirts in style.
I endorse the C7carbon.com strictly due to the price point to the consumer.
Also, these do not look like a truck running board, they look great. They make the C7 look aggressive and serve a very good purpose to eliminate rock chips on the rocker panels.
If your not using the side skirts eventually your beautiful Corvette C7 will get damages from debris, and rock chips along the lower edges of the rocker panels.

I recently received my C7Carbon side skirts and delivered 'em to my paint guy (specializes in Vette restorations) for painting. He states they are inadequately primed for paint (says the primer is way too thin for polyester resin and the glass fibers will eventually show through). He said he'll know for sure after a light sanding.
