Service Manual says( Engine Controls and Fuel) Chapter 9 page 221 Then it says Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Vent Solenoid Valve Control Circuit is High. Shorted to voltage.

just got a call from the dealer they said it's a valve issue and still checking what else is the problem they said it's not a engine problem but should this be a serious problem or should it be a easy fix

Blinking SES light is usually a bad sign (ie: misfire). Steady SES is usually a emissions issue.

Straight answer is no... With how many cars Chevrolet is rolling out of bg, a few cars are destined to have some faults and the faults your car currently has does not seem to merit a whole new engine or a brand new car, just role along with what the dealer says for now since they seem to be repairing it.

Yah I understand that but just don't wanna be worried in the future for more engine problems I wanted to put some performance parts on Should I not do it anymore and put another couple thousand miles on it And then start

With a new engine this won't let me be worried

My observation is, it depends on what kind of "performance parts" you put on the car. If they are significant improvements that potentially change the engine/powertrain and you have an engine or powertrain issue in the future, you may be denied a warranty claim (denied, not voided altho that is possible under some circumstances-do reading up on topic). Denied also means you will be paying out of pocket, so the old saying, "you have to be willing to pay to play," becomes key here. Just saying so you know to check on here first as to how something might affect you, and the car.

Pitch a bitch until you get a new motor then. If it's about trusting the car again, then explain that to them. If it's just a couple valves on one head I would ask the question "WHY" and if they do their due diligence on the rest of the motor I would be ok with them just replacing one head.

Agree with kcbc. Had same issue on my C6. In the C6, one valve is near the throttle body. A second one was near the drivers side has tank. I replaced the one at the TB but of course the malfunctioning one was at the tank. Dealer took care of it quickly. No issues. Rest easy.
