I would be scared to attempt alignment my self. It is easy to get the hood misaligned and not latch or hit and spoil the paint. Wonder if alignment change is temperature related?

If you trust your dealer's body shop, I would just let them mess with it. Otherwise, either find a good body shop other than the dealer or give it a try yourself.
I need the passenger side front of the hood raised a little, I am going to let the dealer do it. When I touch things like this I cause more damage. Glad to hear the hoods are easily adjusted.

That might be good advice and I probably wouldn't have tried it myself without supervision. I was told by a trusted dealer that re-alignment was a warranty job, so it shouldn't cost any C7 owner anything other than the cost of getting to the dealer and wasting your time because the factory couldn't get the alignment right in the first place.
I have the same issue, noticed it the day after picking the car up from the dealer. My car was built on Tuesday. Would like to hear from the dealer about what he will have to do to correct problem. I rather the dealer do at little as possible to my car. Its all I can do to let the dealer change my oil.
If you get the dealer to fix this watch what tools the mechanic is using. If he comes out with a hammer and two big screwdrivers you may have made the wrong decision.
