Has anyone tried both the Southern Car Parts trunk partition and the Exotic Vette partition? I am looking to buy one or the other and looking for some feedback. They both look similar, but based on my research, the differences seem to be as follows:
SCP one seems to match the factory carpet better, and has an option to put a piece in front that has a couple of trays for misc stuff that would normally fly around.
EV one claims to be able to be able to still be used while the top is being stowed and allows the factory cargo shade to be used. SCP one has to be laid down in order to store the top.
EV one is $40 more expensive.
Any other things I might be missing that would help me make a decision?

I've used the Exotic Vettes partition in both my C6 and C7, and have been very pleased. Top stowing and all cargo shades work fine. Best mod for me for both cars. I have no experience with the SCP one.

Exactly the same here. My EV partition is great as was the one I had in my C6. As for the carpet match, the fabric used by EV for the C7 partition is so close to a match that I don't notice the very slight difference. The fact that the EV partition can be kept in place while stowing the roof panel makes the decision a no brainer IMO.
The SCP one is stated to be MDF. The EV one doesn't specify the material, although it does say it weighs six pounds. I would bet it is probably MDF as well, though.
Good to know on the carpet match mpuzach, that makes me feel better about it.
Leaning towards EV now based on these two reports.
The EV partition is the one I bought. It's actually well under 6 pounds and does allow the targa top to be stored without removing the partition. It's made of some type of composite but not mdf.
I'm going partition-less in my C7, but I had the EV one in my C6 and liked it very much. It was made from 1/4" black plastic, ABS I think, covered in carpet. Very good product. As stated, the ability to stow the top without moving it and the ability to use the cargo shade made the decision a no-brainer.
