Default Smallest/Shortest front splitter?

Car was sitting in the driveway and I did not like unfinished look of the front end when you can see below the bumper. I have a Z51 so no front air dam.

I want to lower the car so I'm looking for the smallest front splitter there is. Just something to finish off the look.

It's more cosmetic than anything else.

I think the stock gm z06 splitter may be the smallest. It's defiantly the cheapest.

I run one from CorvetteCreationz.com. Not too obvious but finishes the front end well.

With all the posts about the GM stage 1 splitter, I think you know the answer to this one.
It is also the best design since it comes to a single point in the middle and does not follow the countour of the "fangs".

Our Five1 splitter actually sits higher than stock fascia surface.

Here are a few thoughts if you want to lower the car and aren't sure you want to install a splitter. As noted, the stage 1 black plastic Z06 air dam is a possibility. It doesn't reduce your ground clearance but local guys have found it does hurt your approach angle because it extends forward. On a lowered car you'll have to be more careful on driveways and ramps. One possibility that looks good on a lowered car is to order the 3-piece air dam set for a base Stingray. Before you install it, run a piece of masking tape along the bottom edge of all 3 pieces. Then use a scissors or snips and trim off the bottom 7/8" of the dams along the tape line. With the car lowered the air dams will now have about the same ground clearance as stock and it doesn't look unfinished. Looks great on a lowered car and best of all you can enjoy driving without always worrying about scraping.

I've also got the Lashway Motorsports front splitter. I'm lowered on stock bolts too. LOVE the look!

Stage 1 Z06 spoiler hands down. I hated the unfinished look but didn't want a splitter that followed the fang contours. Thank you, GM for releasing this thing for the masses. And the pricing can't be beat.

As ZL-1 points out, you have to consider not just the height above the road, but how far out the splitter extends beyond the front bumper...

Since most Corvette owners know you have to approach dips at an angle, extending the bumper in the fang area is more likely to cause it to drag than if the splitter extends just the middle, like the GM splitter.
