Default Tail light issue-please help

Just installed the rear tail lights on my C7Z from a stingray. One is darker than the other. Has anyone seen this? I bought the lights from a forum member and said they had 500 miles on car when removed. They dont look tampered with or anything.

Oops, maybe that is why they were up for sale. Changed out because they did not match. Hope not,but I would check with a dealer about ordering or go to Cultrag Performance and order.

wow, how long ago did you buy them? Did you contact the seller, cause its obvious he knew and screwed you on purpose. How did you pay, maybe you have recourse from that method.

Looks like maybe he tried to tint one side? IDK Good luck resolving this. If it is a defect, i would see if they can replace the one side thats bad...

PS what did you do with the Z06 ones that were on your car? Maybe someone would trade with you. I would love to trade, but I'm not convinced I want the Z06 lights on my shark gray ray so I wouldn't do it anytime soon...

It appears you were ripped off by a fellow forum member. IF that turns out to be true please notify the forum moderators and also post his/her forum name so no one else will be burnt.

Definitely do not match. Not sure what you can do at this point in time, but I would at least tell the seller you want a refund and return them.

It certainly appears that the one light is tinted. Contact the forum member and make every reasonable attempt to resolve this issue. If you cannot, start a thread in Transactions Feedback. Make it factual, explain whatever attempts you made to get this corrected. You can absolutely name the member in that thread.

Reasonable approach. I did a transaction with a Forum member several years ago and didn't receive the goods I paid for. I sent many PMs over a couple months and eventually posted a tread asking if the member was still alive. It turns out her father had died and she took it very hard and everything else went on hold for a wile. We eventually got things back on track and I did receive the goods.

I hope your member has a good excuse for not responding to you and will make things right and hope they are not having a serious personal issue.

It certainly looks tinted to me. Even the clear for the reverse looks darker and if you still haven't received a return phone call.....
