Launch Control Issue??
I recently tried out the launch control feature on my C7, but I am not so sure I want to do it again even though the feature is designed into the car.
I know how utilize the launch control; however, upon dumping the clutch the car shakes and rattles fairly significantly when taking off. The shifter and connecting components shake really bad and the hatch lid sounds like it isn't shut well even though it is fully closed.
Has anyone else experienced their car shaking and rattling when using the launch control feature? Yes, I know it is under warranty and the launch control feature is designed for the car, but all the shaking/rattling seems extreme.

I used launch control on my ZL1 Camaro quite a bit, but under certain track conditions, the tires would start to spin at take off, the launch control compensates and the car rumbles until the launch mode detects enough traction to go. The guys who really got good numbers with the ZL1 turned it off.
When I was at Ron Fellows they demo'd launch control. Foot to the floor, clutch all the way down of course, wait until the engine calibrates to the correct RPMs, then pop the clutch - they said no slow clutch release. The cars did rumble until engine calibration occurred and one of the demos had a lot of wheels spin, then as traction was gained and the car moved forward, it stopped.
So what you are experiencing could be some of the above issues.
Otherwise, you may want to get the car checked because once the engine equilabrates, rumbling is greatly lessened and unless the tires are slipping, you should go forward fairly steady.
