Don't do it. Mine scrapes enough with the factory set height? Looks are subjective.

Its very easy. If you do a search you should find it. I lowered mine fully on the factory bolts. Very much improved the looks.

I pulled a wheel to detail, dropped the spring lightly on a jack stand and reached in from above with a 10mm ratcheting box end and while watching a reference point on the top of the stud ...turned each one 4 complete turns. Result was about an inch drop using a scientific method of four fingers of height down to three fingers between the tire and wheel well.

It's easy, but I recommend you not do it, especially if you are planning to add a splitter. I have the C7 Carbon GTX splitter on my 2015 Z51 Stingray at stock height. The leading edge clearance is 5.5 in. Any lower than that and I'll be sweating speed bumps and parking lot entrances. Way too much stress for this 67 year old!

I have a Lashway splitter, lowered all the way on stock bolts, removed the useless air dam and have never scraped a thing.
A car set up like mine:

The stock ride height is perfect for the GTX splitter on my daily driver.

If you are going to do it, go back to the list of threads and go to the top where the sticky notes are, click the "master list of how to's" thread....scroll down to the user submitted how to's and there is one for lowering the car on stock bolts

Nothing scrapes but the factory air dams. Mine is lowered all the way and causes no real world issues. My air dams aren't even frayed or damaged in any way. Looks may be subjective, but I doubt many people think a factory height C7 looks better than a lowered one. Do it op! You won't regret it. Don't expect a drastic drop though. It's only gonna go down about .5" to 1".

I lowered mine all the way......looks much better.......no longer have the urge to go off-road 4 wheelin'.

I have the $105 OEM Z06 splitter painted carbon flash and I scrape every time I leave my driveway. Probably wear out the splitter in a year or two......oh well......I'll just buy another and replace it.

I love the lowered look.
