First time catching someone GAWKING at the Vette
well where I'm at, the sight of a C7 isn't something you see everyday......with that in mind, me and the wife went the movies today......of course we park out away from everyone best we can.....actually got an END spot. after the movie, as we are about two rows away from the car, I can see a teenage guy with his phone taking pictures, then I see his dad is with him checking it out. as we get closer they got in a car two spaces away......and as I look over the kid is staring at his phone and talking to his dad.......so I open the door of the car and then this other guy, probably in this early 20's drives up behind me in this really nice looking lifted truck, he had his window down and looks at me and say "THAT IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CAR I HAVE EVER SEEN!!" I just thanked him and he was on his way......NOW the kid and his dad is still two spaces down and hadn't backed out......so I fired her up....backed up, remember I was parked at the end of the row, at the intersection within the parking lot......and there is a UNHINDERED straight away in front of me, I just couldn't help myself.......VAROOOOOM I WENT!!!
made me feel pretty good.

Joe, you must not take your C-7 out much. I get all kinds of attention from mostly young kids. Almost every time I go out someone is eyeing the car, taking photos or a video from their car while passing by my car. The C-7 likes the attention.

like I mentioned there are not many around here, and I live in and around a small town/community.....and I drive it ALL the time....in fact its my Daily Driver.....I picked her up 3 months ago, and have put 7800 miles on the clock already.....it was just the first time I caught anyone in the act in a parking lot. I get all the time going down the road.

I don't think there is ever a time I drive mine without someone saying something to me at a redlight or parking lot or taking a pic of it while driving.
Today a guy yelled out his window while we were going 45 on a busy 8 lane road and said "CAN I TEST DRIVE IT!?!?"
I laughed and then he proceeded to tell me that I "had it goin on boy". It was funny.
You're rackin up the miles Joe!!! That thing is gonna be all used up soon LOL

Hopefully that young kid will grow up to be a Vette owner.
