Default Replacement C7

RUSTYNKL here with the latest news! I have a TWP of 6/15/2015 for a coupe to replace the one that caught fire while driving. A BIG thank you to DAVE & MIKE PETERSON, BRYNER CHEVROLET;GM and the great members of the CORVETTE CLUB of DELAWARE VALLEY who helped with getting the VETTE built. What a good Group of smart, caring CORVETTE owners, drivers, fans! THANK YOU AGAIN, FRANK

A investigator came to the dealership on 5/12/2015, took about 50 pics. She did not say much, she did say G.M. hired her to look at the vette. i did not hear from G.M. There is a circut board in the rear compartment about 18x24 in. that is burnt to a crisp along with the wiring harness, body tub, carpet, battery and everything in that area. I would like to know what started the fire also but I do not think G.M. will disclose that info.

Rut....Rho..... Not good. Glad to hear you're ok and the dealership took care of you.

Vin #?? or at least the year, model, and sequence #.

Glad GM is making it right..... Hopefully this was an isolated, freak incident.

Ask your dealer to throw in a free fire extinguisher as a good will gesture.

It was a 2015 crystal red coupe. This color is not offered for 2016. The last 7 vin #'s are 5120522. The total miles driven were 230. This vehicle was tighter and smoother driving than ANY CADDY we owned. My wife was not in the VETTE when it caught fire, I am O.K.

As I stated in the electricl problems post, I am not that good with this here computer stuff! I have 3 pics of the coupe before the event. I think the VETTE is still in JENKINTOWN, PA. have not been there for awhile, it hurts to look at it.
