At first i was really interested in the museum delivery but when i heard it would cost double i was less inclined to order it

GM sets the price for this option. I was told during my 06Z delivery by my long time NCM host that NCM gets less than half of the GM's MSRP price for the option. I suspect that is still true with GM and the selling dealership pocketing most of the price for the option that has now essentially doubled with the C7 introduction.
