I have a very early 2015 and the HVAC system just doesn't seem to cool and vent like it should based on other corvettes that I have owned. What info can anyone give me about a HVAC module re-flash?

My '15 works fine; are you sure all the buttons are push correctly? Should just need to hit the "AUTO" tab/button and make sure the "A/C" is light is lite, turn the temp down to 70 or less and feel the cool air. If not, your next stop will be a auto repair shop.

Mine was built in October, 2014 and I noticed my AC was not a cold as my C-6. The more I used the AC the colder it got and now after several months it is cooling properly. Maybe just use it for a month and see if it gets better.

TOTTALY AGREE, I feel the same way my early 2015 does not cool efficiently like my c6 did. My HVAC cut out on a mountain run no ac at all, the next day start up corvette AC running cool again, must be calibration glitch in the HVAC, hopefully they find the problem and a simple re-flash like you stated will be the fix.

Update. My c7 was built on the first day of 2015 production so I've had a little time to experience the HVAC issue. It just didn't perform the way it should based on temp settings. I had asked dealer about it at first oil change but they didn't find a issue. Second oil change yesterday and they updated the HVAC module with latest software. HVAC system works perfectly now. Cools like it should have from the beginning.

Is there a GM update number or anything that will help the technicians find the update?

Tons of info on "Google", all you have to do is ask.

I used the "Torque Pro" App on my phone https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...l.torque&hl=en
along with an plug-in OBDII Bluetooth from Amazon ($15) to read all my fault codes (C6)....and reset them. I haven't tried to run it on the C7 yet but according to what is written, it should work the same. You will have to do a search for the C7 "U-Codes" or DIC Codes to decipher them. If the car is throwing an "A/C CODE", it will show up on this app. Great info for just a few bucks.

yes, thanks good info. Will not work in this case no fault codes, working with GM the problems is not enough info and hard to get bulletins and Global Connect messages even when your a GM tech.

The C7 has a very hot cabin, sitting between that V8 and the tranny. I initially tried to run my AC on manual and bi-level and it just did not cool enough. I found that just putting it in Auto and dialing the temperature down to 68 deg and the fan will blow hard until it cools off. Don't forget to run your seat fans, that helps a lot with your comfort.
