You save it under vehicle contacts. I had an issue with this, too, because it would automatically take the "home" destination I had save in my iPhone, which happened to be the OLD address. It could certainly be a lot more intuitive than it is currently. I know I had to play around with it a little. I'm going out to the garage right now to see if I can figure out how I did it and then I'll post an update.
I'm taking a video of the step by step and posting to youtube; I'll post the link here.

I like setting my home point at a nearby intersection or as a map coordinate at an indefinite point on the street somewhere near my house. That way if someone were to steal the car from a parking lot, they couldn't drive straight to my house and rob it as well.
Admittedly, this is low-probability paranoia, but it's just as easy as putting in the actual address.
You can also call up recent destinations. My home address is always there too. The programming isn't hard just different in some respects (if an address doesn't come up as useable check entry for; spelling [no abbreviations] or town/city). There is one restaurant I frequent that the town that is listed on website is not actual postal address.
You can also save destinations as "Favorites". Favorites can store many things, not just radio station presets.
This is what I did. So instead of a radio station being in my presets, my "HOME" destination is one of them instead. You can do this while sitting in your driveway while you're looking at the Navigation screen. Just hold down one of the open radio station buttons and you're golden!

What if the Nav says it's unable to locate your address?
You can use the destination of the closest intersection of roads the NAV recognizes. I had to do that for a while when I moved into a new area that wasn't on the maps yet.
