Convertible owners - washing Tonneau Cover?
Those of you with convertibles, how are you washing the part of the tonneau that is covered when the top is up? It may not get as dirty as the rest of the car, but if you drive top down a lot it will get dirty. And obviously you can't spray it with a hose while the top is down.
So far, I washed the rest of the car, then raised the rear of the top, wiped down the tonneau with a microfiber cloth damp with soapy water, then rinsed with a clean wet microfiber. Then dried with another microfiber.
Anyone have a better approach?

I use a spray bottle with soapy water to get to that area.

I just use my microfiber cloth which is still damp with both water and Adam's detail spray from drying the car.
And then, I PUT THE TOP UP TO DRY! I never put the car away for the evening w/o making sure that it is up when pulling into the garage on the days it is washed. I have been known to drive around with the top damp after washing, but if I know I'm going to do that, I take extra care to not wet the top.

Have not given it much thought until reading your post. I guess I will use detail spray and a micro fiber towel.

Meguiars mist and wipe body detailer spray.

Detail spray. This part of the car doesn't usually get as dirty as the rest of the car unless you're driving it around top down in the rain. If it is really a mess, go a little heavier with the detail spray, let it sit for a few moments, wipe lightly with a microfiber towel, spray again, turn the towel over and wipe it dry to a shine.
