Chevrolet Corvette C7R wins Le Mans!!

A bit of luck due to the Ferrari problems late in the race, but they were pretty much assured of at least second place prior to that. A good mistake-free race by the team! Just too bad we were a car short an couldn't have made it a 1-2.

Watch out for the spoilers..."now I recorded it for no good reason", "why did you put win in the title", "should have not announced Corvette C7 wins". Hooray for our side! Watched a bunch of it and it was a fun event. Love those Hybreds, they are cool and sound wicked, also.

Courtesy and common sense says do not post race results when people have yet to watch any of the racing.
So thank you for ruining the race results for those of us who have yet to watch it.

Happy for Corvette Racing.
Don't really like LeMans much - way to many car classes to keep up with; and it seems they just make up rules for the Prototype class to support their agenda on which team should win.

As the forum thought police - next year let everyone know when you are done watching the race from your DVR, so that the rest of the forum members can discuss what is already old news

Lots of car forums ban people for this.
I have been here for 15 years and everyday day it is a constant reminder of the lack of courtesy In people today.
Plus the OP does not even get it right, they won their class not the race.

I'm the west coast and stayed up all night watching the live stream. I reported the news when it happened as it happened. The battle at Le Mans is over, so for those who don't want to be current to the news, disconnect yourselves from the world wide web.

Nice racing in GT-PRO this year.... after starting dead last and with a lone car on the grid, a fight with the 99 A.M. for the first half of the race that ended with a mistake from the A.M. driver, followed by a battle with the 51 Ferrari that ended with mechanical failure (thanks Ferrari for staying true to yourself lol) within a couple hours from the checkered flag, Corvette ran a perfect race, impressive in consistency and reliability!
Can't wait for the 2016 edition and the return of the legendary GT-40!

98am,
Thanks for ruining the race. It's not appreciated.

I watched the race. The Ferrari and Corvette were never more than a lap from each other (2-10 seconds) until the Ferrari had to pit. I was waiting for the 'shootout' in the last hour. It was just a matter of time.
