Default C7 Demographic

My curiosity is getting the best of me... Recently at a car show, there was a Corvette group there. Much to my surprise, I was likely half the age of most of them...

What is the age and ethnicity of most of you? I have busted my *** to get to where I am, and thankfully have been blessed... so it allows me to have this car at a much earlier age I suppose. I apparently am a fish out of water here...

30 years old. Puerto Rican. 2nd Vette.

I am 59, but this is my 4th Corvette. I was much younger when I got my first one.

BTW, What age is too old to own a Corvette? I need to know in case I need to sell mine.

Most vette owners I see are older men.

I am a white 23 year old . have no student debt, live with friends in a apartment and I work with my father. ( i am overpaid if you cant tell haha).

Mostly old white guys. C7 is no different. Don't think the effort to get younger people interested is changing anything. In a local Corvette club there are a few 30-40 somethings, but mostly retired people. At 44 I'm the youngest C7 owner.

Plenty of polls on this, do a search if you want but I think we all know the demographics will be skewed towards the 50+ age group.

Just curious, how many young adults can afford a Jaguar, Porsche, R8, or even a Ferrari. Are these cars considered Old Men Cars. Im not getting it...

What real difference does it make who drives Corvettes, Porsches or whatever?

Default Old guys and their Vetts....

I got my first Vette in High School-had it about a month and my parents developed a real attitude toward the car.

Had to wait until I was 66, and got 2 c-4s. Then a '72 LS-5, and now a C-7 Z51 vert. At our club, my wife and I, are 67, about the youngest in the club--but this is also Florida!

Down in South Florida you see these cars with older white guys too. One time I saw this guy in a yellow Gallardo. I couldn't tell if the attractive woman riding shotgun was his gf or grand daughter.

We bought our first Corvette, a brand new 1976 and have had umpteen other new ones, to include our current 2015, in the 39 years since then.

61. Honky. First Corvette.

Most people can't afford a modern Corvette until they're a bit older. I could have afforded one well before now, but in all honesty the C5 and C6 didn't interest me all that much. And forget the C4.
