Default Loud Single Beep

Hope someone can help, while traversing around a sharp corner (hairpin) and travelling reasonably aggressive I all of a sudden heard a loud single beep. I am thinking this was possibly to do with the stability control. Any help with this would be appreciated.

It was OnStar telling you they are aware of your aggressive driving.

Z51 or no?

This is just a shot in the dark but if a non Z51 and you did a sharp corner at high speeds could it have been a low oil pressure warning (I don't know if the car warns of low oil or not), just a guess.

Thinking, active handling intervention. There probably was a DIC message but you were actively driving and missed it.

Do you have a convertible? You get a loud single beep when the roof isn't fully engaged.

No we don't.

If the top is not FULLY up or FULLY down there is a msg on the DIC,which remains on, until one or the other happens.

my C5 chimed when I had low oil pressure and the traction control light in my 7 has gone off a few times with no sound, just the flashing light.
