Default Memory steering wheel operation

My steering wheel will intermittently fail to move to the memory position on start. Most times it will work if I restart the car or hold the memory button. Sometimes on restart it will just move part way like it will if you just push the memory button rather than hold it.

I keep my seat all the way back so not sure if it is affected as well.

Anyone else seen this? Any software updates known?

If your seat is truly all the way back, you might try moving it forward about 1/2 inch and see if that cures the problem. Apparently there is a sensor that gets tripped when your seat is all the way back that can cause the issues you are describing.

in fact....within the owners manual in the section about setting up the memory seating, it cautions owners about the sensor and to back off the 1/2"
