Traffic alerts - turning off when not using nav

Traffic alerts - turning off when not using nav
So I have gone through every option I can find to turn off/uncheck any type of traffic alerts. I'm apparently missing something somewhere because I will be driving along, approach a toll booth and hear "caution toll booth" at least once, if not twice from the car. It doesn't matter if I'm using navigation or not - it will still alert me. Most times I hear the alert I'm not using navigation and I'll be only a few hundred feet from the toll booth by the time it alerts.
Any help on what setting I'm missing to turn these suckers off? It was amusing at first, now it's just gotten annoying. I'm still in my free trial period for OnStar/XM so I'm assuming they'd go away when that expires but that is in 10 1/2 months. Car is 2015 Z51 2LT with nav/pdr.

I've asked about the same thing. Terribly annoying as I have to listen to "Caution tollbooth" 6 times each day. Every time I kindly respond to the nice nav lady, "Yes, I know".
No option to turn this off.

Thanks - that does turn them off, unfortunately when using navigation it also turns off the voice prompts there. I suspect there's a bug in the software as I was able to turn off prompts about construction when not using nav but the toll booth prompts when not using nav never disappeared without turning off voice to nav. Guess I have to decide no voice at all or put up with toll booth prompts.

This is why the next one will not have factory nav. I have Android Auto in the '15 Sonata and prefer it over a factory unit any day.
