Default Bottom line - less than $700 more for my 2016 Z51 coupe

Not bad, I have been waiting for 2016 pricing details. A +285.00 increase for 2LT package (I guess that pretty much for front cameras and power assisted hatch)- +400.00 increase to the base price - NO increase for z51 package.

+685.00 over 2015 prices with some nice add ons for 16!

Also quite pleased with the 395.00 price of the two tone seats option, not bad, about where it should be. Pretty pleased - ordering in the next couple of days

I was not aware the 2016 pricing was out yet. Do you have a link?

Thanks

Are you sure? I Did my 2015 as a 2016 and came up with a $1500 price difference car for car. Did you add in the $995 shipping charge to the total?

$995 destination is not a difference from '15 to '16 so it's not relevant. My build for my '16 was $695 more than a '15, VERY glad I chose to wait for a '16.

I think that $395 for the two tone seats was very reasonable and unexpected. The last time it was offered this option was $695.

Exactly!! the 995.00 destination is a wash, same cost as 2015. I am glad I waited also, I am getting the red/black 2 tone seats in a blade silver Z51. I was OK with the past AR seats, just thought they were a little too bold, the 2 tone brings a nice contrast IMO. The "D" wheel might not bring any real driving improvement, but I really like the looks of it.

D bottom wheel is going to look great! More leg room.

I hope your right on the two tone seats. I ordered them based on the photo from the bash. In that photo they had a lot more red in them than the final version ended up with.

The small price hike is being offset by less of a warranty. A warranty most people don't need anyway.

The only way there could be a $1500 difference on an identical car (other than model year) is if your 2015 was built before the last price increase of the 2015 model year. If I price my 2015 as a 2016 the M.S.R.P. comes out $1695 higher but my car was one of the first 2015s built; there was a $1000 price increase later in the 2015 model year. That + the $295 for 2LT + the $400 across the board increase totals to $1695.

Makes sense. There was a $1000 price increase after that - I think it was in February.

OF COURSE - I have to want the one overpriced option that is new for 2016 - the B92 Visible Carbon Fiber Hood Insert, which is $1995 MSRP....

I was really hoping it would be $1495 at most, because we're only getting to see the exposed carbon fiber in the small 'Stinger' area above the hood vent - the rest of the hood is just painted as normal.

Maybe the reason it is so expensive is, they have to use carbon fiber with a better finish THROUGHOUT the entire hood to accommodate the exposed & specially clear-coated area...

ALSO - can we assume that a CARBON FIBER HOOD VENT will be included with this option ?? It could look really stupid if they cheap out and leave a Carbon Flash-painted vent in front of the REAL carbon fiber area.....

Thats the biggest reason I'd want a D wheel. The interior is already cramped as is compared to the C6.

The powertrain warranty is transferable and the 5/100 should give you more $ at sale time.

Maybe but it still expires at the 5 year mark even if it only has 10K miles. For most folks 12K miles a year is more than adequate.
